| Q. How old does my child have to be to receive a Special Letter from someone like Santa or the Tooth Fairy? |
| A. There is no age limit. We write letters for newborns as keepsakes and for ninety year olds for fun. Our letters are individually crafted, that means each child receives a letter about them and the circumstances surrounding their lives at the time. |
| Q. My Grandaughter lives in New Zealand, do you send Special Letters there? |
| A. We certainly do. We have customers as far a field as America, Australia, Japan and Europe and you will be happy to hear New Zealand too. With today's modern postal system you can get letters and packages pretty much anywhere internationally within 5-7days, however we ask where possible you give us 10-14 days notice so that we can write and package the letter in time. |
| Q. When is the best time to order a Father Christmas Letter? |

A. This is a good one and the answer is NOW. Christmas
is the busiest time of year for everyone here at Special Letters
and we begin getting orders as early as September. Alongside
this we have to consider likely delays with the postal service
who in turn have to deal with a vast increase in mail. |
| Q. My Sons friend has told him Santa Claus isn't real, he is only 6yrs old and I wanted him to believe for a little while longer, is there anything you can do? |
| A. It is always sad when this happens and I have many parents faced with the same situation every year. You will be glad to know we can write a Special Letter for just such an occasion, assuring children it is fine to ask questions as it shows they are growing up and, in case they feel they have to bow to peer pressure and say they don't believe either, we can write that it is OK for them not to say out loud that they believe in Father Christmas, as Santa knows those children who truly believe in their heart of hearts, and those are the ones who he visits at Christmastime. |
| Q. Does the price of the letters include postage and packaging? |
|
A. There is a £1.00 charge for postage and packaging
on all orders within the UK. For an additional charge we also
offer Registered Post and Special 'Next Day' Delivery which
both require a signature on arrival. There are also separate
postal charges for International deliveries. |
| Q. What is the Fairy Dust made from? |
| A. For reasons beyond our control there are occasions when the supply of Fairy Dust, usually found at the bottom of our garden, runs out. On these occasions we have been known to use a very fine glitter or embossing powder in its place and we advise parental guidance if this is given to young children and care should be given to ensure they do not consume or inhale it. |
| Q. I don't particularly want to pay on-line with a credit card is there another way of placing an order? |

A. Although we provide a secure on line service and go
to great lengths to ensure your personal details are kept
secure, we do understand that there are many people who are
still not comfortable about giving their credit card details
on-line, therefore we provide several options on how you can
pay for your order. You can send a cheque or postal order
through the post, you can fax your credit/debit card details
or can contact us via the telephone where one of our friendly
staff will be happy to take your details. All of our contact
details can be found on the 'Contact Us' page. |
| Q. What type of letters do you do for adults? |
| A. Again Special Letters are individually crafted so we
can do pretty much anything you want. Many of our customers
prefer choosing from our selection of poems for a particular
celebratory occasion, we have a wide selection of poems and
verses for all occasions whether it's for birthdays, weddings,
anniversaries, bar mitzvahs, graduations etc. Alternatively
if you have something specific you want to say, or message you
want to get across but can't find the right words, then leave
it to us. We will be more than happy to write the love letter
of your dreams from cupid or just convey an elegantly written
